  • I've found a copy of The Woolies' first release on TTP Records! Look it up here on YouTube: The Woolies - Black Crow Blues.

  • This song went nowhere nationally but I remember it receiving a lot of airplay on the Boston Top 40 radio stations back in early 1967.

  • The vid was okay, but it could have used some clips from some vintage bike flicks (Hells Angels on Wheels OR The Wild Angels). This tune definitely reminds me of bikes and bike riders of the midSixties.

  • From what I read the record wasn't given the proper distribution and thus no one could buy it so it didnt become a hit.

  • brilliant i had my copy stolen beck in the eightees

  • Great song, Mike, thanks! Thumbs up for a fresh take on a classic, thumbs down for stupid music companies still not "getting it" here on YT! :-P
