as a rule:
you NEVER have a chest mounted tow-line any where near any water that is moving at more than a walking pace regardless of whether or not the strap is integrated into a jacket!
i personally know a guy who drowned in a hole because he was towing a boat and it got snagged and he couldnt get the the release because the buckle had slipped up into his jacket. seriously!
a sling is far more appropriate for this though and is also a fair bit cheaper!
