  • How did we think the grass was greener? Did we eat an apple? No, pardon me, Eve, then Adam ate the apple. Correct? Literal truth, now. So, God got plenty sore. Even wiped out the world with a flood, but then got happier, and decided to crucify His son in our place. And if we use our 'free will' correctly we get bliss. If not, then an eternal inferno. Plus the earth is just 5,000 years old. (pesky science). Has it occured to you that with a god like this, you don't need a devil?

  • Um...if God didn't do that, then anyone could just point at God and say that He doesn't keep His Word. But He is a God of integrity, thus He keeps His Word.

    And God didn't make junk; we thought the grass was greener and it turned out we were deceived.

    Repent, be baptized, receive the Holy Spirit.

  • "Apart from the new birth, nothing good dwells in me." How sad to have such a theology. God made such junk, so stained, so evil, and He knew it before creation, so He failed in creating fallen beings. BUT he sent an innocent man, Jesus to be killed in our place. Because blood had to be shed, you know. God does like in when His son bleeds and dies. He needed that because he wasn't big enough to forgive us otherwise. Blood had to run and run and run...
