Lamu land worries

A lobby group calling itself Coast Professional Forum is protesting the allocation of land by the government to what it describes as outsiders.The group members are also against the resettling of Internally Displaced Persons in their area because they fear it would cause tension between them and the locals.

@siasabora Kenyatta brought a lot of his people to Mpeketoni. They have been living peacefully with the locals for decades. But this new wave is causing ripples , you have connected people coming from Nairobi claiming stake to land near the port although they have never been to lamu before,then you have busloads of peasants being given other people's farms.Why cant they be taken to the thousands of acres the Kenyattas stole?It is a time-bomb over there thr proplr have had enough.
