instead of talking about a tsunami of derivatives approaching, which does capture magnitude and intensity but which implies a force of nature that is outside of human control or intention, Max should say something like Blitzkrieg Banking, which captures magnitude and intensity but also implies human intention and extreme malice, as well as fascism and does not blame banking malice on "the Jews".
