This is the modified version of the off-the-shelf down counter i did earlier. After more explanations from nexus, what is needed is another button to act as a "trigger" which when pressed, activates the countdown and when released, the LEDs digits would display where it stops. By putting another parallel resistor, I have now made the output pulse faster. It is so fast, to the normal eye, the LED looks as if its being lit and not pulsing at all.
