  • I loved the intro... I can imagine the smell of that aging airplane from the images. I've become so accustomed to rust, oil stains, ripped and worn carpeting, squeaks and cracking, faded paint, scratches, etc... that I wouldn't know how to act in a shiney brand new bird LOL! Good job though she was flying nice and the engines were music to my ears. Keep em coming

thanks! that thing is a flying junkyard. You can see the rusty screws, the trailing edges are soaked in oil after every flight and that's how that whole cockpit smells - I LOVE that airplane. The engines are good, although they are absolutely not adjusted. Left one at takeoff gives around 38 MAP with thrustlever full forward, the right one gives 38 MAP with thrust lever at half way through the travel - that's actually a little tricky on touch n' goes...

  • @blub77 WOW!!!!! Flying that airplane will make you an even better pilot for when you jump into something new. What a great experience to have by learning how to manage that thing. Safe flying and keep the videos coming.

  • Short question: Isn't useful to trim the ailerons after takeoff (once the plane flies at a constant speed and vertical speed) to have the yoke back to a straight position?
