@k12rising heres another quote talking about non beleivers," thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die." is a Christian a follower of christ and the holy bible? if so, do you still stone non beleivers?
@k12rising after some research "God" is also infinitely good. HOW can someone who is INFINITELY good doom someone to an eternity of HELL!? Hell, by definition being an absolutely awfull place to be. Doesnt sound very good to me.... with all due respect... SOUNDS LIKE A CUNT
@sammybarnet you being raised in a religious family has nothing to do with it. You were never a born again Christian. Relying on one's own is also no good, when you do that you will make mistakes, life can truly be experienced as Christ lives through you in the moment. There is also no doubt whether hell exists, the bible makes it very clear and even Jesus himself talked about hell more then he did heaven because he new how important it was to warn people.
@k12rising i was raised in a religious family, christians, not strict, went to church, it was all very nice. but the problem is that belief is something you gain through experiance, i suppose you could say my run of things in life hasnt been the best, i really dont think that a god that is infinitely good would do such things. Also again, i may be wrong but there seems to be some controversy within the bible as to whether or not hell even exists, could you enlighten me on this matter?
@sammybarnet Because I was brainwashed before into believing evolution was true, but then I saw evidence that disproves it, and not just from the bible, real scientific evidence. It takes more faith for me to believe everything came from nothing, then it does to believe in the God of the bible. How do you know you have been brainwashed by secular society and raised to automaticaly have a prejudice against the Bible? The bible requires some trust not blind faith, then its provides evidence.
@k12rising in my opinion, and looking at all the christians in my immidiate vacinity, i can see that from a non-christian point of view, when looking at a christian i cant help but think that they look brainwashed. May i just throw this out there, you are right in the fact that i havent actually read the bible, i see it as quite a dangerous task but how do you KNOW that you havent been brainwashed. By definition you wouldnt know if you had, but please... just think about it.
@sammybarnet Well its not a story book because the holy bible is not even a book, its a canon of 57 books merged into one. Story's can not also be verified with archaeological and historical evidence, the bible can. I understand your scepticism I was also once not a believer of such, but I advice you to at-least study and research it for yourself with an unbiased attitude and you may just be surprised. The fact that you are even watching these videos tells me your curious.
