awesome performance! i've heard E.C. do it faster than this, but that doesn't in any way steal the soul from the song, this was just as epic!

Great what he is playing as he always does. Great performer and I look up for more of Eric Clapton on YouTube. Thanks people.

thumbs up if eric looks like chuck norris

@basickatie hehe, for the Love of Eric Clapton... never, ever, ever feel like you have to dignify yourself to anyone concerning E.C. Especially the trolls on here that will, the day after he dies, be rushing out to buy his C.D. and tell everyone how good he was and how long they have been fans :)
E.C. for God :)

@basickatie True. Speed can't make up for soul and passion... Just ask a woman about how she want the sex... Eric Clapton have sex with his guitar, and that is why he is god :)

Robert Johnson actually wrote it while he was in Fort Worth Texas, near a "redlight district" on the east side---known by locals as Stop Six area. There is an intersection of E Rosedale and Riverside Drive that had a sleazy motel on the corner that "guests could rent by the hour". The intersection is still there but the motel was torn down decades ago. That intersection was known as the "crossroads"

damn eric clapton got a sweet guitar solo my god
"Alright guys....Back to the hotel!" LOL Always great to see Phil Collins performing along with his good buddy Eric Clapton. These 2 legends along with Greg & Nathan, made up the tightest 4 piece band i've ever heard. If you like this concert, make sure to checkout Eric's 1986 album "August". These guys all played on it & it sounds amazing.

This is my wife's account so don't blame her for my comments. I can't believe you guys that think you can play better than Eric Clapton or that he isn't that good. Just because you can play fast doesn't make you a good guitar player. Eric Clapton is a pioneer and has made enormous contributions to music. He is a prodigous composer and player. Eric can shred but he is also humble and prefers to navigate the fretboard with purpose rather than vanity.
