Note #1: If you notice, Luigi falls by an accident of the mountain then Mario tries to help him but he falls to, when Link sees that they have to rest, he falls and they pass a good moment together.

Note #2: If you saw Chapter 3.5, then read this:
- Option 1 (Fight): After Link and his friends won the battle, it's obviously that Link disobeyed General Goomba and continued his quest.
-Option 2 (Stay): The battle is over, one day has passed and Link and his friends left the castle the evening of the second day.
-Option 3 (Pass Unnoticed): The events of the last chapter were in the same day to this chapter, so no much changed in the storyline. But you should feel guilty beacuse of leaving behind the goombas.
