  • I guess everyone forgets about the Green Line.

  • That's a good point. I realized that I left the Green Line out when I was posting this. The Green Line doesn't actually have a station in Hyde Park, but it's closer than the Red Line, and because it makes fewer stops, it's probably faster.

  • Only 3 bars? Have you ever even been Hyde Park? there are 4 bar just in my area in the East End. Please stop talking about things you have no knowledge of.

  • I was in Hyde Park some years ago on Drexel Boulevard and 50th to take some pictures. A cop stopped us. We told him we grew up there, and he said: "It's not cool for you to be here." A few years later, I was by myself, just taking more pictures, and the same thing happened. I told this cop I had grown up in Drexel Square, and he said it was not cool me me to be there by myself. He followed me to the Outer Drive. (PS: Nobody goes on the el at night any more.)

  • Heh, I didn't even think about that. The Green Line is probably a much better deal.
