This is what great film making is about. The child actor who played Alexandria stole this movie in my opinion. The locations were breath taking. A must see. 10 out of 10.

I didn't know anything about this movie at all before I saw it. In fact, I was scrolling on the forgotten sections of Netflix, and I meant to watch a completely different movie but I accidentally clicked on this one and I didn't find out I had picked on the wrong title till the end of the movie.

I've never made a better mistake in my life.

My DVD does not indicate which region. It does however list the Director's commentary. This is a must see, if your a fan of this movie. Hope this helps.

Michael can you tell me which version of the DVD do you have? Region 1 or region 2? I really want to buy the DVD but only if it includes director's commentary. Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I really don't agree. I think Lee and Catinca worked just brilliantly together as a team. Both gave absolutely stunning performances.

No they aren't. You should check your facts before leaving comments. It was shot in Argentina, Brazil, the UK, Italy, Indonesia, Namibia, the Maldives, South Africa, Chile, China, Egypt, Fiji, Romania, France, Spain, Turkey and India (and other countries - that isn't the complete list)

The Directors commentary indicates the film was made over a period of 4 years, and incorporates footage shot in more then 20 countries. Including India.
