@lester5192 You don't get the point at all. Maybe something similar happened to you so you feel betrayed, but even if Teena betrayed people that's not a reason to die (or in this case murder her). I bet you don't go killing everyone who lies to you or betrays you... Besides, she didn't betray anyone.

The movie was amazing, He was a good guy. He isnt gay, he is just another guy who wasnt afriad to be himself even if he was once a girl but was he ever really a girl once? All I got to say is that he didnt do anything wrong, and he got murdered for being himself, that doesnt make sense.

His story touches my heart.The early 90s was a very diffucult time to come out so I understand why he hid...I was with a girl from 93-99 and she was mistaken many times for a boy. I know how hard it was for us..in the big city..Detroit.It was hard,people always wanting to fight..Just saying I understand Brandons plight and I am saddened at what happened to him.People are ignorant and we cant change that but we can raise awareness...RIP Brandon..GREAT VIDEO..hed be honored!!

I'm pleased to see all the support for Brandon Teena. For others, know that it is ridiculous to believe that there are only male and female sexes, but so, so many in between. Brandon was not gay, in fact, he was repulsed by gay people and the last he would identify as was a lesbian. Unfortunately, he grew up in an area that was extremely close-minded and should have gotten out as soon as possible. Brandon, you're loved by millions who miss you every day. <3

Brandon made some bad choices just like we all do but in the end he was just another person, regardless of whether he was a girl or guy, a criminal or a saint he deserved to live a happy life and that choice was taken away from him by ignorance.
