World 2 of Super Mario - The Lost Levels. Now I found this world considerably easier, seeing as I got rid of my side of the lag while playing (instead of playing the game windowed, I played it fullscreen). The fails are less frequent but more pathetic this time around. XD

One thing to point out though is that the higher the level of the world, the more and more the enemies become unfair. In World 2. That happens to be the flying fish - you'll see that sometimes no matter what I did they just ran into me anyway.

However that's not as annoying as the Hammer Brothers and Lakitus. They literally make me want to smash their face in. AND THEY'RE PIXELS. Not that I'd subvert to violence...

In my best save game (though the screen says differently, because my best save game is saved under a different ROM), I have reached World 8-3. This means that I have the general gist of actually playing The Lost Levels; as for the rest of the Marios in the package, I have progressed far in all but the american Super Mario 2; yes, I'm one of the people who hate it.

I'm not the best at it, but hopefully my failure in some cases will tickle the funny bone among you =)

I'll be playing the game as far as I can, hopefully finishing it, then I'll move on to the next Super Mario games and hopefully complete them.

@harloification yeah, i know, i writ that before i knew how to, my cousin showed me, just use save states ^^

I personally don't use save states, and the game usually updates itself for every world I complete. Granted though, it doesn't save by itself anywhere else.

Use save states. and then load save states. because it won't just remember your game, but if you save state it should work perfectly from where you left off.

did I mention you can save state anywheres?
