  • there was a celidh moment in the middle of that-some mad bloke with a guitar doin riverdance-what was all that about!!???

  • The mad bloke in question is Justin Adams, Robert Plant's guitarist.

  • hes very silly-no entertainment value at all there, unless of course youre Michael Flatley, he'd love it

  • Sorry you weren't at this show and this is a very short extract.

Justin is one of the best rock guitarist in the world, and yes, this evening, everybody had entertainement and fun.

  • The Tuareg and Tinariwen aren't a bunch of naive desert-dwellers. They're sophisticated people who have been exposed to diverse cultures over many decades. It's rather patronising to imply that Tinariwen are being exploited by Plant or anyone else they choose to collaborate with.

  • Plant is an innovator..if you check his progress since zeppelin he has worked on some amazingly diverse musically brilliant projects which dont gain as much attention as his more mainstream work. he is always trying to push his boundaries and says that if stairway to heaven is the one thing he is remembered for, he will die very unhappy.plant has been a supporter of tiariwen long before anyone heard of them

  • @mondesecret I couldn't tell, fuck, why did he have to do that silly shit though

  • What a pity this clip wasn't better quality. Wish I's seen this performance!

  • @boutsi77 no, they started in 1990'S,

  • VIva imazighan viva thamazgha

  • Wow, I sure would have liked to have checked that out.

  • man...this is sick dude ! whole lotta love in desert version. since the quality is shit i could not enjoy this so well but anyway the style it's played, it just kicks ass !!! thumbs up for Tinariwen and Robert Plant

  • I think this is a very good version of the song. The feel that Tinariwen adds makes it sound better, to me!

    Shame about the sound quality...

  • They started in Algeria in during the 1970's

  • Tinariwen is from Mali
