A description to follow, but for now I'm speechless... and when does that ever happen? NEVER! Thank you to Danielle, for her unselfish and genuine love for children everywhere that are suffering from this fatal disease, Niemann-Pick.... her priority is to help others, even though her daughter is suffering from this fatal disease, called Niemann-Pick Type C.

Thanks to Reckless, Logan, Penelope, Skye, the guinea pigs, Taz, and Tinsel Town, who seem to be in all of my movies cause they're so photogenic, and to http://www.walking-on-sunshine-animal-rescue.org
http://www.savinggeorgiadogs.com
http://www.bcrsq.com
and http://www.petrescuebyjudy.com for allowing me to volunteer to do their videos. Your photos are inspiring, to say the least.

I want to continue to help dogs, and all animals in this crazy world we live in, that's riddened with euthanasia practices and animal over population, not to mention animal abuse and cruelty, but for now, my focus is on Gabrielle LaVerde and Niemann-Pick Disease Type C.

Why? Because it's what God is asking me to do.

Thanks!

  • Once again you have chosen the right music and pictures to demonstrate your message of love. I think animals are healers in so many ways. Look at the joy on their faces. Thanks for raising the issue of Niemann-Pick Disease and letting us meet this precious little girl.

  • It still amazes me, the people that I reach in this forum, the friends that I have made, and the wonderful people that truly love and care in this world.

  • To learn more about all of the organizations involved in this video, and more about little Gabrielle, please read the "About this Video" on the right of the video. Thank you!!!

  • Well done and said gisele. I share your love for chilren especially an ofcourse the animals. Those together are my heart.

My heart goes out to Gabriella's family and the little girl..thank you for doing this and let me know what I can do...

  • Ah, thank you for quoting this song a while back! You can visit GabrielleLaVerde (dot) com and visit her website, and share this video and the website with friends who are as compassionate as you are!!! Thanks!

  • how the hell is that possible. that's nuts! Sorry so so sorry!

  • my sister is a nurse & knew a family that had all 4 children with NP, although i'm not sure which type it was. as someone with chronic health problems myself, i understand the pain & fear that comes with being sick and not knowing why.

  • Thank you for the wonderful video. I didn't know that there was early childhood alzheimer's disease until now. An elderly relative of mine has alzheimer's. I also had a second aunt who had dementia. Bless the Beasts and the Children has always been one of my favorite songs by the Carpenters. Sometimes by the Carpenters (with Karen singing) is my favorite. Short song but very meaningful. Regards.

  • May I ask what you are working on? Are you researching a specific treatment? There are so many who are desperate for anything that will save their children from this devastating disease.

  • Dear friends, and colleges.

I am scientist, and I am working on NPC disease, and I hope that I, and our group would find a treatment cure for this disease in the near future. God bless all our children.

  • Wow

  • my brother also had niemann pick type c i was his carer for 9.5 years we were blessed to have him a lot longer than you had your beautiful little girl brendan was 21.5 years old when we lost him on the 9th july 2004 it still hurts everyday and i miss him so much so i know what you are going through i alwats tell my self that it would of been selfish of me to want him to keep fighting when he was so tired and couldnt keep fighting any more.

  • I am very sorry for your loss. We struggle every day with this disease and we pray for a miracle for Gabrielle, who just turned 7 last week. "Started going back in time" is a profound way to describe this disease. I wish there was something I could do or say to comfort your family. Just know we are trying to fight this disease, and community support.

    Gisele

  • my sister had this horribl disease. they diagnosed her from a skin tissue. she died 1 week after her 5th birthday, its just sad that i think about it because her first years she was normal until she "started going back in time" and even move
