Dead Rising 2: Video Review

After years of waiting for Dead Rising 2, here's IGN's video review of the hot zombie game by Capcom. Better than any horror movie, Dead Rising 2 is a true over the top blood fest.

@ekalb59bl IGN sin't always the same guy. Sometimes is someone with good points and good complaints about the game, but some other times it's just someone who gets paid for saying what he doesn't even know.

They need to rehaul this entire fucking game, its a good game but it could be amazing. Get rid of the timer - it's pointless - and dont have a stupid kid to save - Get rid of escort missions completely. Make it much more of a survival game. The gameplay should pause when you talk to someone, and they should actually speak instead of just annoying text. Have a proper inventory, resident evil style. And have a proper progression system - one long game - instead of case files(?)

the saving in this game is horrible, i find my self doing alot of things and then i die and have to do it all over again

I agree with most things you say, but the timer should stay. It builds the atmosphere and imagine if it wasn't there and you could go to do cases whenever you want. The game could be extremely short if that was the case, so the timer should be there as it makes the game tense. It obviously can get annoying, but the game would be broken without it. How else would they keep you from just completing cases one after they other which could make the game really short?

Are the psychopaths still unstoppable douche bags with far too much health and eyes on the back of their heads and are the survivors still dumber than any known zombie or has capcom actually fixed that

@CharnelLord666 yeh, the timer spoils the fun. Also, when you talk to someone or get a message you can never read it cause you're being attacked by zombies constantly. Tons of missions keep piling up, and it's confusing as hell. I still dont know what happens if I dont go to the safe room and accept the newest case file - or what happens if I am transporting someone as a mission is supposed to begin, do i just abandon them? They need to get rid of the timer altogether! but they never learn
