My goodness, the lyrics to this heart rendering song certainly hit home for me...... so many similarities to my own situation. I can remember seeing the love of my life from a distance on a secluded beach in Cornwall. I just felt his presence, turned my head, and low and behold , my " Man In Black" was lovingly and forlornly gazing back at me..... Always from a distance.... never united. My secret love.....my everlasting love....Our destiny must be to be together......I constantly pray lord.

The love of my life, the one you never get over, 25 years later, several divorces & 4 children later, I find him on facebook!The spark was as the day we walked away from each other, dreams do come true, never lose hope in the one, the one true love of your life, may absolutely find you again. I'm very blessed to have such a happy ending after so much hurt! I love him more today than I did all of those years ago. This time, I will never let go<3

Sometimes, it is life imitating art... For years, this has been one of my top ten favorite songs. Friday morning, I missed a connecting flight at DFW and was forced to spend almost eight hours awaiting an available flight home. Long story short, I ran into an old high school girlfriend. It had been almost 28 years since we dated. The song came to life. After spending about six hours together, She is recently divorced and I am widowed, We're planning a meeting in a few weeks, We'll see.
