yes, sharp claws indeed!! some cats have longer claws then others and cant help but grip in when they leap up. i keep my cats claws trimmed with clippers. if i dont they get their claws caught in everything:(
one of my cats is a constant back staller and shoulder rider. some days i feel like a cat taxi, lol sometimes she jumps on and i know that all she wants is for me to walk her over to the window so she can watch birds!!

ah! well that's cool that you can get her to do it with out hurting you. Think you a declawed cat would even be able to do it?

cool...so she's still learning somehting new ;o)

so when you teach a cat to jump up on you like that, do you have them de-clawed first? Because otherwise, i could see that really hurting

Nope...
She's fully clawed.
It's only really a problem when she's slipping. LaVerne's pretty talented though, so not too much.
But her claws are VERY sharp. Can be a bit painful.
