@colourmegone they weren't the true followers of Christ but simply fanatics who used the name of Christianity to pursue their goals. The Bible teaches us to overcome evil with good, turn the other cheek, pray for your enemies and many other such verses...But then some men with their own evil agenda will use any religion as their vehicle to attain their ambition and deceive people to do just the opposite of that which is truth.

The problem with this discussion is that they (the three men) thinks Christianity is a religion and make absolute statement based on what? Their heads! Read the Bible again gentlemen and find a single phrase, let alone a verse, that says relationship with Christ is a religion. And look at you guys, three men together voicing their baseless opinions and railing against a lady who stands for the truth. At least the lady has a basis for her point - The Word of God!

People of all religions and no religion at all lay down their lives for their friends and their families every day. I quite agree with the point about martyrs, it's the greatest form of insanity and fanaticism. But then how many martyrs were created by the Christian religion during its continuing persecutions of other faiths?

@blueflamex595 i know it will come off as a bit daft but i have had what you could call spiritual incidents back when i did some ghost hunting. and not weak shit like lights flickering i actually saw a paint can levitate and then slam into the ground, i saw a plate fly across the room. that kind of stuff makes me think that there is something beyond death, and in turn i think there is an after life. but i dont really use religion for answers about what that could be.
