Imho, yes, they may be a step behind ford, but look at all of the problems ford has with their "new" cars.
Anyone remember the recall on the entire focus line?
That sasy something about ford.
Chevy just likes to keep their stuff perfect when they release it, thats why their stuff lasts so long.
And ford crap seems to need a Fix Or Repair Daily(pun intended).I have owned 3 fords, an 88 tempo, a 94 taurus SHO, and a 90 ranger...They all died within 9 months from mech failure.

the new camaros should never come to market.. they are fucking ugly, too much like a stang, and the grill look like a chevy truck... they should go back.. do a 3rd gen. remake.. with updated insides... the new camaro look like a damn robot, and the priceing on them are ridiculas... they will sale no doubt.. seriously i got 4 3rd gen camaros..and i would love gm to make another one.... i only own chevys and its asshame to see gm acting like ford..smh...~latasha~

Like stated above ^^^ I agree. And whats with that new white mustang in the same building as the new camaro takes shape. I like GM .. always have but they have always been 2 steps behind Ford. They probably getting ideas from the stang.

ETA now 2010, GM need to put this car into production long before then to survive. 2009/10 it's just plain crazy, get your head out of your ass GM!.

I would buy one today, CASH if they were on the lots. WHY DID GM WAIT SO LONG? These cars won't hit the dealers until 2009! Crazy!
