  • Your saying that strawberries, grapes and bananas should be avoided because they would contain a lot of poisins?

I am only able to buy mostly non organic. So what should be avoided all together? Thank you for doing these videos.

  • Please check ewg*org/foodnews/ change the * to a dot. for a list of the highest residual pesticide loads on foods.

  • John, thanks for all you do! You said you eat hydroponically grown vegetables. How do you know if they are grown with chemical fertilizers or not?

  • I dont. Once again.. good... better.. best.. Of course, optimally, I would like to eat 100% home grown, organic, rock dust enhanced produce. When Im traveling, this is not always possible, so then I would prefer local or organic produce. If that is not possible, than at least the hot house stuff does not contain pesticides.. Some "brands" of hot house grown foods are "certified organic" ..

  • Good video. Were you at the Mother Earth News Fair?

  • Yes, I was at the Mother Earth News Fair.. Watch for two upcoming episodes on my GrowingYourGreens channel on it..

  • Loved going to the store with you. Great tips - thanks.

  • Hi John, in the country that I live we dont have a lot of organic stuff and most of them are imported from other countries. In your opinion what is the best choice 1- Organic products that most probably are not fresh and quite 'old i.e. cut early and refregirated or 2- fresh local stuff that are not organic. Thank you!

  • Thanks John all these details are sooo helpful! love ya :)

  • John you look much better than just 6 months ago: you had some bags under the eyes which I don't see now: how did you do that? My health has improved a lot since I went on mostly fruits since a few weeks but I still have bags under the eyes (not black though.)

  • Yeah I ate a whole pineapple once and I had a sore mouth for the rest of the day. LOL

  • You were making me feel hungry with your quick serving ideas. Thanks for these valuable guidelines, John.

  • hey john , have you ever eaten from a piece of fruit, whilst it is perfectly ripe and still connected to the tree? : )

  • imagine one day, when we do not have to worry about pesticides, the nutrition content of the soil or even if fluoride was added to the water that was added to the soil , where every produce is perfectly grown, every single piece of fruit : )
