2 Tiers Tank Setup with Auto Water Change system

My latest set up as at October 2009, a 2 tiers 522 tank running on one EHIEM Professional 3 canister.
It is incorporated with a pump and float valve for auto water change if needed.
The small pump is situated at the upper tank internal overflow section to suck out waste water through the transparent hose to the drainage pipe.
The drop in water level in the lower tank thus activate the float valve to refill fresh water direct from tap to the pre-set level.
Frequency and period of running the small pump is set by a Timer Switch which supply power to the pump.
Still in the trial for a month+, all comments are welcome.
