1. No thats an opinion that i am. We are all our own authority. You could be labeled the egocentric thinking that you know something that i don't based upon you having some sort of power that let's you speak to the supernatural.

2. I do not have faith for which i deny supernatuirl claims made by you. Its simply a refusal to believe which you have no evidence for.

3. I can pinpoint in certain areas of the bible where there is fanaticism.

2. You claim there is no faith by which you live, regarding your beliefs, yet you cannot prove said beliefs to be unequivocally true.

3. As I said, religion is not a necessity in fanaticism, & fanaticism is not a necessity in religion.

I'd even go further & say fanaticism can be a quality as long as it is not hostile.

2. I am not egocentric. I understand faith is a part of my belief in God, while you claim to have no faith. If you do not subject yourself to a belief in God, are you not then your own authority?

@Killer0fTheSun Either you proselytize in this very discussion or you prove yourself a very egocentric, self righteous human with an identity complex in the desire to prove yourself justified to others by your beliefs.

I never claimed the burden of proof was upon you, but you are the one who said you do not use faith which defines religion. So, unless you can prove your beliefs are not based on faith, you prove to be religious. This supports my point that religion is not necessarily fanaticism.

Wonderful!! We have someone who thinks the burden of disproof is on the one who denies a claim which cannot be proven? I laughed at such idiocy. If one makes a claim from a positive assertion that person bears the "burden of proof" to provide the claim. If one cannot show evidence the claim remains the same.I never stated there definately is no god i just deny the claim made by one who states there is one.I don't proseltyze either.Try again.

@Killer0fTheSun You are now resorting to the use of an ad hominem. Well, regarding the discussion at hand, you say you use no tenants of faith, which, in your opinion, defines religion. I'd argue that you cannot prove to me unequivocally that there is no Creator, Supreme Bring, Deity or God. Are you not then fanatical in your faith in atheism, your code of human morals, principles by which you choose to live, and do you not proselytize as you are doing right now? Sounds "religious" to me. *Smirk
