This has always been one of my most favorite songs and Elvis easily has the very best rendition of it. Elvis will definitely always be #1 in music and entertainment. Back when this song was recorded, it was just another Elvis tune from another Elvis movie - and there were a LOT of Elvis movies (notoriously low-budget) being released in the '60s.

Decades later, this song has rightfully become a theme song for the city of Las Vegas. And a very good theme song it is, too.
