  • You guys rock! Thx! Keep em coming!!

  • @sweetdgilllette19 Yes two of the three passenger plugs can be done from there easily.

  • @prsguitars42 You don't need to drill any "access holes" the passengers rear can be gotten to from below above where the pipe meets the manifold.

The drivers side comes out from under the hood take off the throttle body cover. To get this plug install your spark plug socket on the plug by hand. There isn't enough clearance to put your socket on the back so put another socket on your ratchet put that on top of the hex on the plug socket.

A pain in the butt but no drilling holes required.

  • I was doing breaks on one and I noticed that I could see the sparkplugs through the fender wells, I wonder if you could change them from there

  • @sirmasterpimp ,

yeah, I agree... the vid is overkill. Have 96 ford aerostar 3L, V6 w/ 205,000 miles

and have chgd plugs 2X on it, most recently last week(this time w/ new wires).

two of the plugs he can access I dont have to take tire off. Just had to turn wheel.

The other 2 I did without removing anything in the engine compartment. The last

2 are a completely different story. They were impossible for me to get at. I drilled

2 small access holes(one on each side of the dog house).

  • I think I'll take mine into the shop. But your video showed me why I want to do that and I really appreciate it. Thanks.

  • Ouch, and I thought changing the spark plugs on my full sized van was tough. Thank god I can take off the dog house inside the car to access mine. Remove the air intake assembly, belt, ac compressor and the front wheels for just the plugs!!!!, heck it would probably be easier to drop the engine out the bottom to change em!......just replacing the wires must be like a puzzle on this van.....Nice vid though 5 star.
