The protection of our native forests is of urgent national and international importance in these times of global climate chaos.

Because the forests have been so heavily overcut, the promised level of supply cant be met. FNSW are logging these important forests and ignoring environment protection rules for the sake of only another two to three years worth of trees.

It is time for the NSW and Federal Governments to fulfil their international obligations on climate change by protecting the remaining carbon sinks.

Its time for native forest operations under the RFAs to cease until both the State and Federal governments can prove that Forests NSW are adhering to the law.

An assurance was given to the community, with the signing of the Regional Forest Agreements, that Forests NSW would ensure damage to threatened species habitat is mitigated... the law is not being implemented.

Its time to prove that political will is not extinct and put an end to native forest logging, for us and our children's future.
