Me destroying this misinformed Intelligent Design fool's Irreplaceable Complexity arguement.

Basically his arguement is that in the Theory of Evolution is that every part has a purpose. So the Intelligent Design claims that if you take away parts of the Bacteria Flagellum it becomes useless and without purpose. Therefore "something" had to of built the bacteria flagellum. As you can see this arguement has been proven wrong because everything in the bacteria flagellum in fact does have a purpose and will still function if you take parts of it away.

Then he goes on in part 2 to talk about how DNA is behind it all. How that encoded in the DNA is the bacteria flagellum. I didn't understand his point about this. Because it's clear that with 2 brunette parents giving birth to a redheaded baby that DNA can be jumbled up to produce something that isn't expected.

In part 4 he once again shows the world that the "Intelligent Design" crowd is opposed to education and intelligence. He talks about the fossil record never producing a missing link. Where in fact it actually has. Not very long ago a fossil was found that shows the progress between species. If ParadoxIII's account hadn't been shut down I would be able to provide a video clip supporting this find. But I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to do a little research about this "missing link fossil" to see it's authenticity.

I quit watching the rest of his 17 part rant because it's obvious that he's ignorant on the entire Design vs. Evolution arguement.

  • Fairy tales?

Did you hear about the one of the rock that eventually grew legs, then eventually became human? Goo to Zoo to You

That's a good one, at least my fairy tale has a happy ending.

gotta go to work...provide your proof.

    Try praying for your friend....

  • @h2omanz You think I'm fighting with you? I could see how you'd think that but I'm not. That's just how I am. I cuss to show the passion I have for my arguement. I'm not cussing towards you. I'm cussing about the entire mindset of the religious right. I have no idea if you're a part of them or not. But you're at the very least RELATED to that movement.

Do you not see the self-fullfilling prophecy happening in the world? Your rapture is about to come true but not cuz it's Holy.

  • There is no point in debating with religious people, they are sick. They are utterly psycotic in their blind belief in fantasies that dont exist outside the psycotic mind.

  • You're right, there is no way to absolutely conclusively prove that aliens didn't put dinosaur bones in the ground. However, this "theory" quickly falls apart. Logic and reasoning need to be incorporated into theories, which science exhibits beautifully. Nothing has a higher standard for proof or theory than science. It would be ludicrous to think that aliens would travel billions to trillions of miles through space to put some "fake bones" in the ground. (continue in next comment)

ADD THIS ONE IN AS 2.5

    4. The Bible is clear of a one world order and everything else the prophets 3000yrs ago professed is all lining up to the tee. Keep your eye on Israel as the prophesies tell exactly what is and will happen and it is not by self fulfillment.

  • @swaggajee

    3. ....yet you have never tasted it, that's how illogical it is for someone to tell what is what with 'experience and study'. Again I have studied both bias free, and concluded with what has facts to back up the claims. ToE is not even scientific.

  • @swaggajee

    2. You also state that I believe in the Bible because of the happy ending? Fact is I told you that I was taught that evo was fact. I did and still do follow/study both ToE/religion

for many years, and know quite a bit more than the average joe on both. You claim to dismiss the Bibles claim and prove that you have very little understanding/knowledge of it. It like this example, You tell me that the salsa in the bowl is

  • @swaggajee

I never denied a reg. war. The Bible is very clear since it gives detailed description of the first arab born. How he and his 1/2 jewish brother were in conflict. The Bible prophesy has proven to be the word of God...by fulfilling prophesy that is impossible to predict(last 10 happened in 1948). Could some of the prophesies be self fulfilled...of course. But there are 2000 of 2500 given that have come to past, the last 500 are in the last days...we are in the last days.

  • @h2omanz So you're still denying that there's a Religious War going on? Have you been hearing what your fellow Christians have been saying about the mosque that isn't a mosque being built near Ground Zero? And you realize that Muslim fanatics have already declared War on the West?

If you Christians can't live in peace next to Jews, Muslims, Buddists, and Aethiests then the End of the World will indeed happen. A new crusade will happen and it'll be nuclear armageddon.

  • @swaggajee

Sorry it was a joke, as I know all about 'Irreducible' complexity (IC).

On your post you labeled it as 'irreplaceable' complexity, no such thing

  • @h2omanz Irreplaceable Complexity is the theory behind Intelligent Design. See, evolution is about mixing and matching. Like breeding a poodle with a labrador to come up with a big dog that has poodle hair and intelligence. And Irreplaceable Complexity is was trying to show how the bacteria flagellum all by itself is useless. Meaning that a God had to specifically design it that way. But science showed how the flagellum CAN funtion on it's own...just in a different manner.

  • @swaggajee No i believe in it because when you study the Bible it makes sense, ToE is full of holes and fails the criteria of the scientific method.....horribly. I used to believe in ToE until I studied both, bias free. Not science, it goes against the 5 definitions that makes things science 1-Observational data 2-Accurate predictions 3-Logical 4-Open to criticism 5-Accurate information 6-No presuppositions ToE fails all of these,,,,,,hard
