  • You need to have a continuous equipment ground for all the solar equipment that runs back to the service panel. On most systems you would ground the panels to the rails using WEEB clips (or ground lugs). You would also then use ground lugs to ground all the rails together using #10 bare copper which would most likely travel to a J Box or DC disconnect near the array where you would transition from the array USE-2 wire and bare copper ground to stranded wire.   • dont the grounding lus go on the solar panels to meet code?what gauge solid wire did you use?
