CHAPTER 30-
*Lucys POV*

"MARTI! HELP ME!" I screamed and she ran towards me with a boy following her. He looked a lot like her so I guessed he was her cousin. The boy ran up and pried me out of Adams hands. Marti and the boy pulled me into a car and started driving. "THANK YOU!" I yelled throwing my arms around Marti. We were both in the back seat and the boy was driving. I cried into her shoulder and she patted my back. "What were you guys doing here anyways?" I sniffled.
"Well, I am Martis cousin Sean. We were hanging out on the boardwalk, catching up and we were going back to my car when Marti saw you." He said looking in the rear view mirror. I smiled and thanked them both. They just saved me from one of the worst things that could ever happen to me.

(AN- Nick is at his house. )
*Nicks POV*
I was sitting on the couch with Miley watching a movie when I went to get us some popcorn. I checked my phone and saw that I had a new text. I opened it and quickly I started freaking out. Something happened to Lucy. Is she okay? Is Adam hurting her? I knew not to trust him. A million thoughts ran through my head while I grabbed my keys and Miley and ran out the front door. Right as I stuck the key in the ignition, I saw someone pull up in Luces driveway. Miley continued to ask me questions as I watched my beautiful Lucy emerge from a car I didnt recognize. Her face was tear streaked and I pulled the key out and ran towards her. I wrapped my arms around her shivering frame and comforted her. She continued to cry as Miley pulled me off her.
"Come on baby. Were watching a movie remember" Miley said looking Lucy up and down. Lucy just turned around and walked into her house Marti and the boy behind her. She shut the door and I saw her light in her room turn on. I sighed and followed Miley back into my house. I wanted to know what was wrong.. but Miley had other plans.
