@AuWoodStock, not that I know of. The English Wikipedia has an article about the film but not about Maben, and this says a lot. And his "director's cut" is ridiculous - I always go directly to the old version on the DVD.

I start to laugh (trying not to cry) when I see that animation of Vesuvius lava destroying Pompeii. The Pompeii eruption didn't have lava - Vesuvius just exploded and sent pyroclastic flows (very fast running streams of ash and hot gases).

It is, indeed. And not only because of the Vesuvius sequence, but the animated Voyager quest as well. And that footage of Pink Floyd playing before Pink Floyd in some kind of cheap cinema in awful, as Maben himself acknowledges. Sistematic mock by Floyd's musicians denotes and explains everything, i think :S
But it still remains as the most exciting, fine and soulful classic rock footage i know of :D

@floydgenesisnut, in "Wish You Were Here" Waters's ego was already starting its malignant growth, yet it still gave us the title song and the second part of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" where Gilmour does exactly that - he shines like a supernova! And in "Animals", Gilmour steals the show several times in "Dogs" and at the end of "Sheep". But in "The Wall", Pink Floyd was really little more than Waters's accompanying band, and in "The Final Cut", *exactly* that... :-(

Wish You Were Here was the last time that Gilmour/Waters/Wright worked together. Roger only sang on "Shine On" whilst DG did Machine and WYWH. Roy Harper did Cigar. Animals was the first PF album that Rick Wright was not part of the songwriting process. Roger became almost a Hitleresque leader on The Wall.
