NB:the beginning of the 2nd video has a more detailed explanation on how to do the bong sau properly
Master Tsui teaching how to do a proper Bong Sau. Notice how even when he demonstrates it slow..he still can raise his arm, and when he does it faster, it's even easier. Also notice how others if not doing it properly, can't even raise their bong sau even when Master Tsui, who is definately physically weaker, presses down on it.
Master Tsui explains how when the Bong Sau is done properly, it uses no muscle strength, and the opponent may have power but can't use it against the one using the proper Bong Sau.
Also on my understanding, from my training at Master Jim Fung's academy, the bong sau as taught by Master Tsui is not just for deflecting, as when it is performed correct, can have tremendous force which is used against the opponent (in part can be seen by how his "opponents" move back when he does the proper Bong Sau)
Any question on how Master Tsui teaches his Bong Sau, please go to www.wingchun.com.au/forums or www.wingchun.com.au and click to forums.
Filmed at Master Jim Fung's Academy.

Structure defeats strength and clashing force with force. Master TST is always excellent at teaching structure as applied to WC techniques.

Interesting vid - thanks! I wish the camera angles had been a bit better thought out in advance, but that's my only criticism tbh. The rolling movement of the bong sau is efficient and compact, and funnily enough can be used just as well if the fight goes to ground (as in wing chun + gracie). It's well illustrated, especially with the final student. Nice one.
