people like avatar better because in general people are morons. Give them brights colours and 3-D glasses and they will be amazed. District 9 is a far better film with a wonderful insight in social history and attitudes.

District 9 had a much more darker tone to it than Avatar which most people dont like. District had a big social statement which was i think the core of the whole film and why it was so brilliant. District 9 beat Avatar by a million light years, plus I hate 3 D because it ruins films.

UNDE APPRECIATED?? District 9 is a great film but you can't say its under a ppreciated it was nominated for like 60 awards around the world, 4 academy awards made 6 times it's budget brough Neill Bloomklamp to light, was a critical and commercial success it has a fanbase too.... just because it doesn't win an academy award doesn't mean it's not appreciated.
