Bottom Transport Pilot: I'll try spinning! That's a good trick!

It's time for LucasArts to stop sitting on these games and start re-releasing them today.
It's just to bad that I don't see this game on GOG.com. This is definately a "GOOD OLD GAME".

damn, I loved Tie Fighter but when I played the first mission of x-wing, It never advanced to the next mission, it just looped the first mission. no matter if I completed the first mission, the next briefing was always on the same mission. Am I missing something like time limits or something?

I believe it does that if you have either Invulnerability or Unlimited Ammo turned on, so try switching those off, then repeating the mission; you should be able to advance to the next one afterward.

But this version of X-Wing has many gaps. And that's why I prefer the Collector's CD-Rom edition from 1994.

Yeah, the biggest loss from the transition between versions had to be the iMuse music system; but I can understand why Lucasarts decided not to keep it in.

Why?

Most likely because iMuse probably wasn't compatible with the overhauled game engine.
