Lake Lanier: Running Dry

Lake Lanier is the reservoir on the Chattahoochee River that supplies the drinking water to much of north Georgia as well as ecosystems all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico -- and it's running dry, with 80-ish days of water left for Atlanta. Uncontained development goes head to head with endangered species in this imminent crisis.

How much water did this guy waste in the making of the video? Sure we are in a severe drought, but this guy is all gloom and doom. A lot of his "facts" are incorrect. The real answer to the drought is to stop breeding. No more growth ever...no economy...no more people. That is exactly what people like this guy want. That should save all the endangered species.

good things wil happen. anyways. for billions of years the planet has been constantly changing. Lakes have been disappearing, appearing, new rivers, mountains, islands, disappearing and reappearing. etc. man built life as if the world never changes and so when the world changes a couple million people get fucked. no matter what u do unless u spend millions of dollars, or billions of people get involved, u cannot change what happens in nature.

You know these people are stupid. But they are right. The lake looks alright today. BUT your tips are very helpful; using water the way you advised lowers your utilities bill a lot. and if everybody turned off the shower between rinsing, many good things would happen. Maybe yes with the environment, but i'm talking about water supply and whatnot. i dont know much about it but i do know it would help. same thing with electricity. if u dont use every electronic in your house, unplug toastr, u kno

Good vid, thanks for sharing... I was going to do a vid showing all the garbage that is left on the shores on the islands after the weekend from all the partiers...that doesnt help the water there either.. such a beautiful lake...and people are so careless.

interesting video....i went there yesterday ...i don't like it because the water is dark and cold, is a good place for fun with the family and friends,make a barbecue, out of water of course!!
