  • Britain could NEVER have produced Sigur Ros- it is the land that has made them what they are. If they were "big" and singing in English they wouldn't be Sigur Ros. I love them for this- the English language and commerical music dominate too much.Sigur ros bring some special musical beauty into my life..I love them.

  • amazing. beautiful. sigur ros are the most talented band in the world at the moment i beleive. imagine how much bigger they would be if they were from an english speaking country? although i love the icelandic and volenska too.

  • @lucas141289 I understand that your comment was 2 years ago, but they were huge then also. Maybe you don't realise but Sigur Ros are one of the biggest bands for music in TV and film!

I would hate for them to be English, much like @Forestdweller68 does.

  • I want to get married to this song. I guess the first step would be finding a mate, though. But seriously, how perfect would a bride look walking down the aisle to this?

  • This song helps me when I'm too tired to sleep, too restless to sleep or too upset to sleep. Just about the most beautiful and soothing song in the world. I'm so happy to have found this and I only wish the whole world could hear this, we'd probably have no wars then ;)

  • @TheWhiteTomatoes Some of the songs are in Icelandic, and Jónsi's new album isn't a Sigur Rós album. Forestdweller's not saying that Britain's shite for music or anything - it's far from it. Just that one of the things that is so seperate and different from other bands is that they use Icelandic, not English. Also the music really reflects the environment they're used to, which is far from any English suburb.

  • @forestdweller68 What about Jonsi's new solo album, in English and pretty great.

  • love sigur ros!! always have

  • det är fruktansvärt vackert

  • notes ...and silences....

everything is amazing in sigur ros's songs

  • breathtaking

  • Some bands need all the electronics to make their songs work, but Sigur Ros can perform theirs all acoustically, with excellent results.
