for this we need app called as recoverjpeg , install it using synaptic , than launch terminal type (note: if your deleted images are bigger than 1gb , its better to first change to bigger partiton and create directory , than use this cmd)

cd (bigger partiton drive)
than
mkdir myphotos (create dir)
cd myphotos
recoverjpeg -v /dev/partition from where you want to recover your image files

-v
displays output

-m size
by default it recovers files smaller than 6 mb , if you want to recover files bigger than 6mb , just add your desired size
