I think they just like to do covers. You have to admit they do a great job with "Baker Street". Plus it gives Dan a chance to play the melodica. :-)

Wearing the "same shirt" as you call it is common for professional musicians on tour it is called a "tour wardrobe". You don't take 100s of T-shirts on tour. Don't worry the clothes are cleaned! The reason Jars of Clay performs covers of songs like Baker's Street is because they are very good muiscians who are not scared to be creative just because they are Christians! Relax and enjoy.
