On second thought it sounds more like a 1.5jz anyway. Coming from an owner of a 2nd and 1jz.

@dmarshalltt I seriously doubt that. He at least has forged pistons.

This is pretty much the extent of the power handling on an r-154. 750-800whp is where reliability leaves it. There are some upgrades to the r154 but I've never seen a gearset for it in the US.

@RFsupra67 all depends on how u want it set up? u can do staggered aftermarket twins or dual gt28s or switch to a single turbo setup

Contact Drewgo on Supramania,he sells 1JZ manifolds, turbo wise look into a 61mm, GT4082 or I think the best choice a T4 GT35R. You'll still need extra fuel to handle the power, wastegate, downpipe, tuning, FMIC, etc.
