Class A foam is not toxic. killer454 and rockinfireman95, I don't know what type of foam you're using, but I've not come across a Class A that harms gear, equipment, or unprotected skin. Most are nothing more than glorified dish soap.
We use Class A on brush fires and sometimes on structure fires. Our brush truck has the FoamPro 2001 system on it. Our next pumper will DEFINITELY be CAFS. If you've ever used CAFS, you'll swear by it.
hello people! maybe someone have a drawing in AutoCad of proportioning system and pumps?..for e.g. fix mix, I'm doing graduation dissertation about this. I would be very grateful :))
they make a foam stick now. It's 10x's more efficient. Don't have to put anything but water in the tank and the stick is in a special bit of kit that goes on before the nozzle at the end of the hose.
thanks for this

putting foam in the tank is a pain in the ass
id always use water unless it was a oil or gas fire
