  • I saw the whole documentary today at the Irish festival of Oulu (Finland) and liked it very much.

  • Thanks! Hope youre enjoying the festival. Say hi to Dearbhla and Vanessa - the filmakers...

  • Great stuff! - I saw an attempt at collaboration organised by Damon Albarn (Blur/Gorillaz) in Liverpool recently & it was useless - missing everything that this sort of collaboration seems to have in buckets - i.e. using musicians who are sociable & know their own musical culture well & having real warmth & heart, a respect for & connection with the culture you're performing with & learning from & a melding of acoustic instruments that complement each other.

Where can we see the film?

  • The film is not on general release yet, but has been screened in Dublin and Belfast. There is a screening possibly planned in the new Lighthouse cinema in Dublin soon... Thanks for the comment!
