I lived in Nelson in 1975 -1977 before returning to Oz with my Nelson Wife and Burnley born daughter and stepsons.
Would love to go back but afraid it wouldn't be the same.

Thanks for showing this video of my home town. I lived here until I was 13, then moved to Australia. That was 30 years ago. I've been back a couple of times, but I STILL miss it!

Good to see my old Home Town of Accrington, Abbey St named after Black abbey an old monastery, its said that there are stil tunnels the go through to whalley abbey,

i mate cool that was i uesd to in nelson 3years ago now in birmingham uesd to work at morrisons i might no you i uesd to drink in lord nelson and netherfeilds club then still go back to nelson from anthony hussain

Very interesing, last time i was in Accrington was 1967 when i was very young. My Grandparents lived in Bellfield Road i still have vivid memories of playing football in street and backyard.
Grandfather was in East Lancs regiment during WW1 and had constant cough due to mustard gas.

I lived in Accrington all my life before moving nearly 3 years ago, I enjoyed your town center walk, and it would be realy intresting if you did anouther vidio where you stopped people shopping and ask them what they think of the town.....id love to watch that.
