I love this breed. I have one named Rhett and he is super mischievous. Mine is white with black spots. when we first brought him home and he still had his short puppy fur he looked like a dalmation. l asolutely adore him :)

I love Setters :) I have one now and we're getting another one in about a month. The one I have now is 7, so I'm a little curious to see how well she reacts to a new puppy. She LOVES other dogs, so I think she'll be fine. She's orange like James, and the next one we're getting is going to be tri-colored! I cannot wait. Your dogs are adorable!

And they love other dogs too. The lady which sold us our dogs told us that male setters get iritated by puppies... and we saw that first hand. But she didn't say anything about lady setters :)

They're fabulous dogs. You'll be overjoyed. Have you picked one out already?
If not then when choosing from the litter, take your time just observing all the puppies when they're playing together. Once ready to make a decision, go with your first instinct.
The ones that are curious ones will be somewhat loners. They will be mega curious and will explore by themselves... and seem a bit more intelligent. While the quiet, slow puppies will probably be very lively later on... will love to play.
