Cooper is feeding a goat little sprigs of hay that he (and his parents) picked up off of the ground at the Children's Zoo part of the San Diego Zoo. Looks as if he considers himself an expert at nourishing goats, you know with his nonchalant attitude and all. I mean, let's face it, this IS his second time at the zoo. (Can't you tell by how he is exuding coolness in the midst of the older more rambunctious yet more timid boys?)
I like how he seems to figure out a like-minded soul near the end and begins to talk to him to make friends. It's as if he realizes he isn't like the other boys who twitch, scream and flinch from/at the goat. So he finds the one other kid who just grooves in the "goat-feeding zone" like he does... This behavior may serve him well in life.
