  • man, if the director of the original texas chainsaw massacre was that disturbed then you know the video must be really fucked

  • @arnulfololll Thanks for the comment but Mark was far from the director but was a part of Bryanston Pictures, the company who partially owned and originally distributed TCM. Just fyi.

  • Ok, for all of you that don't understand the meaning of snuff. Murders captured on camera is not the right definition. Murders captured on camera, where the footage is being sold on a market in order to gain profit is the right definition. No such product has been found, and it seems almost profound that any one would try to sell footage like that today, but the snuff rumors came around the 70's - before the internet - when cinema and television was the biggest medium. 3G1H is not snuff reallly

  • @Concretshky Absolutely correct. Except that the myth/rumors began more in the late 60's.

  • @killingjokefilms Oh well, sorry about that. However, if these websites that distribute/broadcast atrocity-like material (Ogrish/LiveLeak and such) were financed by advertising - well, I don't know if they are or not, but lets say that hypothetcally they are - would you classify it as redefining the snuff genre? Since it is murder for profit caught on tape nonetheless. I mean the internet is as powerful as any other media in order to make money.

  • @Concretshky No worries. Thanks for contributing respectful, intelligent dialogue here. And to answer your question; absolutely. The last chapter in the doc deals with that concept but as more of a root concept. We look at the idea of Snuff "profit" as not just monetary, which is a large aspect of the definition, but as ideological. Such as the infamous decapitation videos. They gained major "profit" to the terror campaign so does that fit the definition if not redefine it?

  • I heard they mention "Nero pedos" on here. Doesn't any know if that's real i know the makers went to jail and all they tried to track down who purchased them.

  • I wanna see that video.

  • hopefully this doc gets uploaded onto here so we dont have to buy something that was falsely advertised. everyone ive talked to who has viewed this said the trailer parts arent in the movie. man people will do anything to views/sales these days.

  • @pedinkus dis is what /b/ did to me. after a while, u grow immune.

  • @killingjokefilms i think i may be mistaken (my apologies if i am), i'm sure that the F.B.I only considers it 'snuff' if it is used for the sexual arousal of the viewer also

  • @Concretshky actually the idea came before that when it was rumoured that Charles Manson and his 'followers' had made some kind of recording of the Sharon Tate murders in the 60's

  • bullshit, that dude describing the murder needs to ask for his money back from those acting classes lol, ive seen a beheading in Saudi Arabia, from a distant of course cause us westerners arent allowed to watch, and it wasnt that bad...

  • @pedinkus the beheading of daniel pearl was faked
