A New Perspective (Doctor Who) - AU

PLEASE READ BEFORE WATCHING !!
No really, read - there's a lot of special thanks at the bottom as well as the EXTREMELY IMPORTANT storyline :)

My entry to round three of the Imagination of the Soul contest!!
(as of 26 September 2009: I won third place in Challenge Three for this video!! Thanks soo much!!)

This time around, the challenge was to create your own character and insert them into the storyline of a television show or film. I'm really thrilled I managed to get this finished - as I'm off to France in a couple hours time and I don't know how much I'll be able to get done for the next two weeks!!

SO. Here's what I did:

Flora Adams (played by Lucy Griffiths - Lady Marian from BBC's Robin Hood) is a girl from 1500 England...the Tenth Doctor stumbles upon that time period and finds a notorious robber, whom he attempts to apprehend but who gets the better of him. At a party, he sees a girl who catches his eye on the other side of the room...
The Doctor is arrested at another party, for the civilians believe that he is the robber, and Flora helps him escape over the roof. Impressed, the Doctor asks her to travel along with him.
They travel a bit, have a great time, but then begin to argue...the robber from the 1500s makes a miraculous return, unmasks, and is Flora!!
...the man she stole from isn't exactly happy and they get into a bit of a standoff. The Doctor arrives just in time and attempts to calm him down, butttt...
And I'll leave the rest a suprise :D

By the way, anyone who wants to use Flora in a fanfiction is welcome to. And I'll feature it here :)

By the way, my apologies for the quality of some of the clips toward the end...and my inability to mask XD

I also forgot to mention in the credits that there is a clip from a deleted scene from the film In Bruges :)

That's from the third episode of the three-part miniseries David did in 2005 called Casanova :)

It's brilliant and completely heartwrenching - if you haven't seen it, I totally recomment it.

I just absolutely love your videos. I'm upset that Panic broke up, but at least we'll be hearing more songs like this. =] And this video is so creative. Just...wow. I'm speechless. And yeah. Jonas Armstrong would make an awesome (very sexy) Doctor. Ha ha. =]
