@Granddorifto i have a 2000 v6 5 speed i luv it but im buyin a v8 when i get a job they sound amazing and they fast

so, did you blow your engine up yet? im afraid to run that kinda power on stock internals but i guess its an excuse for a 4.3l build.

@Granddorifto I know this is an old comment, but I went through the modding my v6 phase. Cammed, full intake, full exhaust, etc. No it wasn't worth it. I sold my car and bought a 99 Cobra. Instant gratification.

anyone that thinks its cheaper to mod a 6 cyl vs an 8 cyl and get the same power to dollar ratio is high... of course im high right now... shit what the fuck was i saying... uhhh hmmm...

@NoobwellRecords look buddy you do know that there are junkyards that have all the stuff you need for a fraction of the cost of buying a new engine/tranny/turbo. learn how to do and it wont cost you much money but it will cost you some elbow grease and thats a great trade off.

@turtleslow meth, i rest my case

@zr2chevypickupman there are plenty of parts available for the ford v6, or specifically the mustang. as for the power and potential, you have a valid point, more displacement=more power, but you can do wonders with lower displacement motors also, and most of the time the build is cheaper than the build would be for a v8 to get the same power. everyone will want what they want, but dont completely rule out the other side, they have plenty of potential to acquire some crazy numbers too

I have a 2000 mustang v-6 automatic. Is it even possible to put a cobra engine in it and make it into a stick? If so about how much would it cost? I want to give it alot of power but don't quite know how.

@NoobwellRecords Anything is possible with enough time and money.... but you're better off just finding a cobra and buying it. You'll have way too much time and money wrapped up in a project like this to justify doing it. (Not to mention the chances of everything working like you want them to are pretty slim unless you have a lot of experience doing something like this. (And if you're asking on here, I doubt you do.)
