------I thought I'd take this down pretty quickly, but it grew on me. Maybe I'll re-record this year and try to get it a little better (and when it's a little warmer out). Here's what I said last year...
---------
Here's a favorite carol sung with bajo sexto when it was way too cold out (-2 windchill) with kids sledding three feet away and the camera misfiring (temperature related?). I'll leave it up for a week or two as a mediocre but heartfelt holiday thing....

  • what kind of guitar is that?

  • It's a lone star victoria (tuned funny). What do you play? -it looks cool. I love your videos man!

  • You do know you can play inside...hahahaha! Great video though, not a fan of x-mas carols but you can make them sound enjoyable. You are some form of amazing that has not yet been tested for and that is a good thing!

  • Yeah, I figured out I could play inside for "o sight of anguish." It sounds kind of lame being indoors though (on the other hand I needed all ten fingers to play it).

  • I love this. Please leave it up forever; kids sledding, wind blowing past the microphone, and all. It's a lovely and very "real" rendition of one of my favorites. I've viewed a ton of your videos on You Tube. They're all great.

  • I like the folk added to this, brilliant. And I love how the guitar is tuned too, amazing.

  • I do love this interpretation. It's fresh, relaxed and inspirational.

  • Very simple, not the traditional Praetorius 4-part sound, but YOUR sound, quite individual. I loved it.

  • Really great interpretation, really enjoyed it. Great voice too.

  • nice!

  • Beautifully done Tim. My fingers wouldn't even work, in that cold. Bravo!
