The 'Red One' can Synth a bit too! ;)

Korg ESX-1 with Moogerfoogers MF-103 Phaser, MF-101 LP Filter and BOSS DD-6 delay (in stereo) processing one of the Keyboard parts when routed for individual outs 3/4, and a bit of fuzzy Guitar in the middle!

  • i found a good way to easily get chords on ESX: in Ableton Live's midi utilities section there is a chord midi utility. Slap it on a track with either KB part 1 or 2 (must be on its own midi channel) and hey presto! You can of course set up whatever chords you want, and if you use another sequencer there must be other similar midi utils for you.

  • you can play chords on the esx and emx its just a pain in the ass. You have to assign the same sound to either 2,3 or 4 pads, then record the root and then the other respective notes in the chord as you stack parts. like I said its a pain but you can form chords.
