  • How do you get these videos? And can I expect one from the show this weekend?

  • This is from texastech.com. The picture quality is a little better on the original, but i think you have to subscribe to see the videos. i'll try to post the next game. hopefully they'll get better audio this time. i didn't post the missouri game yet since the audio recording is mediocre.

  • @cmbuvi92 I’m a drumline fanatic, and you can’t kid me on that. Here’s how we know that this is not straight from Drumline: Compare these notes to the movie:

0:48-1:03 - The extended intro is not played in the movie.

1:40 - The high part of the Trumpet line is supposed to enter there according to the movie. It comes in 15 seconds later, and none of the brass lines they are playing isn’t exactly the same.

2:21 - “Let’s Groove” was not in the movie Drumline at all.

  • they got this frm the movie drumline....lol

  • Tempos fast. This isn't straight out of drumline piece of shit it is by one of the greatest 70s bands. Seriously EWF is freakin sweet and the fact that they're still playing at the ages of 50+ is kinda amazing.

  • And the song is NOT straight out of Drumline. Just cause they play it in Drumline doesn't mean people are copying THEM if they want to play it. The Song is a classic and great for marching band. If you think they copied Drumline, you are a fool.

This band is a monster! It doesn't seem like the movements are too hard cause there is nowhere to go and you can always gauge off of all the people in front of you (for the most part). There seems to be nowhere to move on the field!

    Rockin band!

  • ok, there is NOTHING wrong with playing to the back field for HALF the song. There are tons of ppl over there too!

Tubas are awesome here, but the recording is so far away. lol, it looks like the conductor is a whole beat and a half ahead but he isn't. That's just the nature of the beast.

Some people like it that fast, I wish it was a little slow.

  • lets groove seemed a bit choppy in the beginning. but still sounded exactly how my school did it- we are a 1A school.
